Block A Block creation information: Scaled uniformly, allow exploding, drawn on "0" layer AEC content creation information: Scale per drawing, Enable AEC scaling, layer key "0", saved in current drawing Block B Block creation information: Scaled uniformly, allow exploding, drawn on multiple different layers AEC content creation information: Scale per drawing, Enable AEC scaling, layer key "0", saved in current drawing When I drag Block A across and drop it onto a pallet the icon does not show up, just the block name shows up.
When I drag Block B across and drop it onto a pallet the icon shows up and the name of the block shows up. However, if you are changing your background colors around when you make your AEC content, the background color does not show up on the pallet in either case, but will show up in the design center.
Right click on your icon on the pallet and select "set image from selection". Then select the block inside your drawing and hit enter. It will set it to anything you pick on because it is not directly linked to actual block. I would really really like to hear any theories or things to try out to get around this. I am having a similar problem with design center icons created by way of AEC Content Wizard not showing solid hatch patterns that appear in the blocks used to create icons.
I am using ADT I have created solid hatched blocks selecting two different combinations of options. Here they are: Block A Block creation information: Scaled uniformly, allow exploding, drawn on "0" layer AEC content creation information: Scale per drawing, Enable AEC scaling, layer key "0", saved in current drawing Block B Block creation information: Scaled uniformly, allow exploding, drawn on multiple different layers AEC content creation information: Scale per drawing, Enable AEC scaling, layer key "0", saved in current drawing When I create an AEC content icon for my Design Center, solid hatch does not show up, just the objects outline shows up.
FYI: Donut command works to get a solid round fill only. I need square solid hatch. Does anyone know how to get solid hatch and half-tone hatches to show up in AEC content icons for design center?? I would really like to hear any suggestions.
